Anyone can purchase (friends and neighbors), however we cannot mail tickets. Students will get credit for every sale they make!
Along with the chance to “soak” Principal Horner, our Top 3 fundraisers will get to choose from three amazing prizes: a deluxe Wham-O Super Slip ‘N’ Slide, a $75 gift card to Cinemark Cinema and a $50 Amazon gift card.
“Beary Clean” car wash tickets retail for $10 at the wash, and for only a couple bucks more, you can support the students of BPE!
1 wash for $12
2 washes for $22
5 washes for $50
This Spring Fundraiser will allow us to keep supporting PTA programs including teacher grants & curriculum support, Browns Point Reads—where every student is gifted a book for their home library, Beluga Strong t-shirts, lunch incentives, recess equipment, Virtual Family Fun Nights, and so much more! We’re looking forward to next year, where we hope to relaunch even more PTA Programs with your help.
STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK
Staff Appreciation Week is next week, May 3rd – 7th! Each year we like to take a week to focus on our incredible staff and show our gratitude and appreciation for their endless hard work and dedication to our children. There are several ways you and your family can participate, here are a few ideas:
Donate to our Staff Appreciation Potluck Fund - Due to Covid restrictions, we are unable to hold our annual Staff Appreciation Week potluck however we know our families still want to participate in this beloved annual tradition to say thank you to the teachers and staff - especially this year when they have worked so hard during these extremely challenging times.
In order to provide safe lunches during the week of Teacher Appreciation, rather than sending in homemade food, you can donate towards a meal and PTA will coordinate the delivery with the staff. You can donate any amount (in $10 increments) you would have normally put towards your potluck item - if you would like to donate more than $10, simply change the quantity of this item in your cart.
All donations received for Staff Appreciation Week will go towards meals, treats and surprises for our hardworking staff! PTA will also sign your family name (no amounts will be shared) on a card to our staff on behalf of everyone who donates.
Send in a homemade card - a wonderful way for the students to show their teacher some appreciation in a creative, heartfelt way.
Send you kid with a flower from your garden - one or two will do!
Have your child tell a joke or recite a poem to their favorite staff member
Have your child write down their favorite memory of the current year and giving it to their teacher
Email your child’s teacher, or a staff member that has made an impact on your family, thanking them for everything they do!
Have fun with it, the possibilities are endless!
Thank you so much for your support - it is truly appreciated by all!
PTA GENERAL MEETING
Our third and final PTA General Membership meeting for this school year is set for Wednesday, May 12th at 6pm via Zoom. At this meeting we will vote on the 2021-2022 Executive Board as well as our budget for next year. Attending these meetings is a great way to share your input and also learn about what we have planned for all of the hard-earned fundraising dollars that everyone has helped provide for our school.
Meeting ID: 818 7250 6186
This week we would like to take a step back and shine our gratitude spotlight on the students of Browns Point Elementary. These kids have persevered through an extremely challenging year of juggling remote and in-person learning, having their entire school universe turned upside down, a lot of the fun parts of school taken away, and gracefully wearing their masks each and every day with less complaints than we all expected. We are so incredibly proud and grateful for our Belugas and wanted to share a reminder that everything we do, we are doing for them.
