Beluga Runners is a fun way to promote movement and exercise, our Belugas can choose to walk, jog, or run the upper track at recess! For every lap completed they get fun tokens and every week there is a raffle for a special token for those who participated! Beluga Runners is every Tuesday and Thursday through October 24th. We need volunteers to make this program successful, please use the link to volunteer!

Curriculum Night is Thursday 10/3, from 6-7pm. There are two sessions, Session 1 from 6-6:25pm and Session 2 from 6:30-7pm. This is an adult only evening. Class expectations, grade level goals, and curriculum will be discussed.

Tuesday 10/8, be ready to smile for Picture Day!

Join us on Friday 10/11, from 5-7pm for our annual Fall Carnival! This is always a really fun event! If you would like to volunteer to help with set up, clean up, or run a booth, or would like to make your own booth use the link to sign up! If you would like to donate any prizes (candy, slap bracelets, stickers, pencils, etc) there is a bin in the office under the sign in table, donations can be dropped off there.

Scholastic Book Fair! Friday 10/11 and Monday 10/14 will be Preview Days, students will go with their class and preview the Book Fair and make wish lists. The Book Fair will be open Friday 10/11 from 5-7pm during the Fall Carnival, Tuesday 10/15 from 12:15-4pm, Wednesday 10/16 Breakfast at the Book Fair from 9-10am and students can shop during lunch and recess, Thursday 10/17 from 12:15-6pm, and Friday 10/18 from 12:15-3pm. Volunteers needed, all volunteers receive a $10 gift certificate to use at the fair. Sign up using the link.

Conferences will be held on Tuesday 10/15, Thursday 10/17, and Friday 10/18, early dismissal on these days at 12:15pm.

Thursday 10/17 will be our 1st Honors Parade of the year! Students who are their classroom's October Honor Students will be walk the halls in an Honors Parade! Parents/Guardians of Honor Students will be told in advance so they can attend if possible.

Don't know what to make for dinner? Come to Red Robin or order To Go at the Federal Way location and support PTA! Red Robin is giving 25% of every bill back to us and all that money goes directly back to our students! Just make sure to mention you are supporting BPE so we get credit when you order!
